Approximately 70 photos have been added to the St. Mary’s Album in the Photo Gallery. Featured are various seascape and landscape photos, central Hugh Town and country area scenes. The photos were taken in 2005 using a Canon 300D digital SLR camera and primarily a 17-40mm canon zoom lens. As recent visitors to Scilly-photos will be aware, the site is new and images are being added to the gallery as an ongoing process. Don’t forget, you can be notified of any recent additions to the gallery through the RSS feeds supplied from this site. |
Site Development
Perhaps the first thing I should mention is that even though I have some knowledge of website design, I am not a professional web designer. I often found some of the problems encountered with the set up of the site insurmountable at the time, but like most things I find that if you persevere long enough you eventually find a route over (or around) the inevitable hurdles that you come across …and it all seems worth it in the end.
In creating the site, I hoped to provide an insight into these beautiful Islands through my collection of photos and short articles.
